National Tree Day
The Rural City of Wangaratta is hosting a National Tree Day planting event! Come along for the opportunity to learn more about the importance of bush regeneration and riparian vegetation, all while planting a range of trees, shrubs and grasses.
This year’s event is aimed at planting species to increase biodiversity and help provide habitat for native animals like Sugar Gliders, Squirrel Gliders and Barking Owls. A free lunch will be provided. Please BYO water bottle and gloves and wear sturdy footwear and warm clothing.
