Community Grants 

The Rural City of Wangaratta 2018/2019 Community Grants Program Minor Category is now open. Grants up to $5,000 are available to eligible community groups and not-for-profit organisations.

Applications Open: Friday 11 January 2018

Applications Close: Friday 1 March 2018

Council Officers will host Community Grants Drop-In Sessions to assist potential applicants with project development and the application process. Applicants are encouraged to attend one of the Community Grants sessions below:

About Community Grants

The Rural City of Wangaratta Community Grants Program supports community groups and organisations to carry out programs and projects that will develop and enhance the social, cultural and environmental experience of local residents.

The Rural City of Wangaratta Community Grants program offers two streams of funding each year:

Major Grants – up to $15,000

Minor Grants – up to $5,000
