Community Grants - Minor - Now Open

The Rural City of Wangaratta 2019/2020 Community Grants Minor Category offers grants up to $5,000 to eligible community groups and not-for-profit organisations.

Applications Open: Friday 17th January 2020

Applications Close: Friday 28th February 2020

Council Officers will host Community Grants Drop-In Sessions to assist potential applicants with project development and the application process.

Applicants are encouraged to drop in to one of the sessions below:

Tuesday 28th January - Wangaratta Government Centre - 10am - 11.00am

Thursday 30th January - Vintage Hall Cafe, Glenrowan - 12pm – 1pm

Monday 3rd February – Whitfield General Store, Whitfield – 10am – 11am

Monday 3rd February – Ineeta Café, Moyhu – 12pm – 1pm

Tuesday 4th February – Wangaratta Government Centre – 3:30pm – 5pm

Tuesday 11th February – Boorhaman Hotel – 12pm – 1pm

Wednesday 12th February – Everton Hall Supper Room – 9:30am – 10:30am

Wednesday 12th February – Whorouly Café, Whorouly – 11am – 12pm

Monday 17th February – Gamzes Smokehouse, Milawa – 10am – 11am

Monday 24th February – Wangaratta Government Centre – 5pm – 6pm

About Community Grants

The Rural City of Wangaratta Community Grants Program supports community groups and organisations to carry out programs and projects that will develop and enhance the social, cultural and environmental experience of local residents.

The Rural City of Wangaratta Community Grants program offers two streams of funding each year:

Major Grants – up to $15,000

Minor Grants – up to $5,000
