Enquiries

If you have any enquiries about tendering with Council please contact the procurement team at procurement@wangaratta.vic.gov.au

We look forward to working with you.

Supplier Pre-Qualification

Council is introducing Supplier Pre-Qualification. This process is designed specifically to make it easier for suppliers to work with Council.

You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire about your company and provide copies of your insurances. Once approved as a pre-qualified supplier you will be issued a unique supplier number and remain on our register until you ask to be removed (or are no longer approved). The only thing you will need to do is provide updated insurance certificates, and reference your unique supplier number each time you provide a quotation or tender.

For ad-hoc quotes up to the threshold limit of $150,000 (including GST), Council may approach pre-qualified suppliers in the first instance (if no arrangement already exists).

Procurement Policy

You can find Council's Procurement Policy through the link below.

Supplier Briefings

Council will be hosting regular supplier briefings. The briefings are open to all suppliers, both new and existing, and are designed to inform suppliers of the opportunities that are coming up with Council, discuss how to work with Council, and to provide a Q&A session. Invitations will be placed in the Chronicle and Border Mail, so keep an eye out! Everybody welcome!

ICN Regional Gateway

Industry Capability Network (ICN) is a business network that introduces Australian and New Zealand companies to projects large and small. The network covers not only local government but also includes the construction, defence, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. Council will begin to use this as an additional source to promote our opportunities, and to ensure we are getting the right suppliers to work with us.
