Draft Road Management Plan

Wangaratta has a road management plan that sets out Council's duties to inspect and maintain the local road and path network for the public.

The plan covers infrastructure including sealed roads, unsealed roads, footpaths and shared paths, bridges and major culverts, and traffic control devices.

Wangaratta's existing Road Management Plan from 2017 has been updated in line with our new Council Plan, and according to the Local Government Act 2020.

Why do we review the Road Management Plan?

The review and update of the Plan is to ensure that standards and priorities for inspection, maintenance and repair of the roads and paths, and classes of roads and paths, are safe and appropriate for use by the community.

We are calling our community to tell us your feedback and ideas.
