Land Protection Incentive Scheme

Up to $1,000 per annum is available to landholders through the Land Protection Incentive Scheme.

The Scheme is available to landholders that are voluntarily protecting areas of native vegetation on their land and have an approved conservation covenant through the Trust for Native Conservation Covenant Program

The payment is to assist landholders in the ongoing preservation of these precious biodiversity environments through activities such as fencing, weed spraying and vermin control.

Trust for Nature assesses the site to determine the area that contains high quality remnant vegetation and then maintains regular inspections through its stewardship program.
