Merriwa Park

Tucked away within Wangaratta’s CBD, Merriwa Park is a large, beautiful park. It has a number of majestic redgums trees, scenic ponds and sweeping lawns.

The park has tennis courts, a playground and toilets along with a large open reserve area. There is plenty of shade for a family picnic or you can use one of the BBQ areas and picnic tables. 

Partially encircled by an ornamental lake, this park is suitable for a wide manner of events from open air concerts, markets, weddings and cultural events.
