Good Access = Good Business

The “Good Access = Good Business” project aims to increase access and inclusion for people with disability in our area.

1 in 5 people have a disability, which means that 20% of potential customers could be facing accessibility issues when shopping, eating out or using local services. But you can make small changes to your business to remove these issues.

Many of these ideas are easy to put into practice; however some will need professional advice so that they are done according to the regulations.

Businesses that participate are provided a guide and a checklist to identify how accessible they are and where they can make small improvements. They also receive a “Becoming Accessible” window sticker to promote their dedication to social inclusion.
