The Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre is a state of the art multimillion dollar venue which opened in September 2009 and offers a new alternative to regional conferencing and entertainment.  Providing contemporary architecture and facilities including a dedicated, fully equipped 520 raked seat theatre with a balcony, banquet facilities for 300 persons, a custom built marquee to accommodate up to 500 banquet style and two smaller meeting rooms.

All spaces have direct access to our spacious foyers, allowing patrons to enjoy the natural light and curated exhibition which changes regularly.  The ambience of the venue continues through to Wangaratta Art Gallery and Art Space next door.

The multipurpose centre has been built on ‘green principles’ utilising passive energy wherever possible.  All spaces are flexible in size and room layout and catering can be provided by in-house caterers utilising regional and seasonal produce.

Our Alpine MDF Theatre has housed a variety of events, from local dance and drama schools, to top national and international comedians, singers, musicians and actors.
