Rural City of Wangaratta

The aim of the Community Grants Program is to provide financial assistance to local not for profit community groups and organisations for the development of programs, activities and projects that will develop and enhance the social, cultural and environmental experience for the residents of the Rural City of Wangaratta.

The Community Grants program is one of many ways Council is able to support initiatives developed by the local community, which adds to the overall quality of life for the residents of the Rural City of Wangaratta. Priority is given to projects and organisations that focus on strengthening local involvement and compliment the 2030 Community Vision for the Rural City of Wangaratta, the 'Ultimate in Liveability’.

The next round of Wangaratta Rural City Council Community Grants will be advertised in May 2013.  More information will be provided at this time.
