Rural City of Wangaratta

Expressions of interest are being sought from community sporting organisations within the Rural City of Wangaratta for projects that fit within the Country Football Netball Program.

The purpose of the Country Football Netball Program is to assist country rural located football and netball clubs, associations and umpiring organisations to develop and upgrade facilities including:

• change room facilities for players and umpires of both genders;
• football playing fields; and / or
• netball facilities and of lighting facilities.

Capital works projects requesting up to $100,000 in funding may be considered. An in-kind labour and/or materials contribution of 25% of the total project cost is allowed.

Potential projects must be discussed with Council’s Recreation Planner, Mel Sporry on 5722 0866 or by email on m.sporry@wangaratta.vic.gov.au prior to submitting an expression of interest form.

Completed expressions of interest forms are to be received no later than Friday 2 September 2011.
