Expressions of Interest - Wangaratta Library Community Space

 Posted: 27-09-2017

A great opportunity exists for community focused groups to partner with the Wangaratta Rural City Council to bring to life the vacant space that will soon be available at the Wangaratta Library.

There is nearly 150 square metres which can easily be divided into two distinct areas and would suit two tenants.   Dependent on interest and requirements, the two spaces could be combined into one.

The Wangaratta Library is eager to share the space with groups who are complementary to the Library and who can help achieve the aim of providing contemporary services in a welcoming building that is welcoming and accessible to everyone. The Library places the community at the heart of its service and aims to create value, improve effectiveness and enhance community wellbeing. The Library wants people to feel connected to their local community and believes this is an exciting opportunity to create an innovative place within the city.

Expressions of interest are now open and are available at www.wangaratta.vic.gov.au or by calling Loueen Twyford on 03 5722 8161. Expressions of Interest must address the Key Considerations and the group must meet the eligibility criteria. Applications close Thursday 26 October 2017.
