What ‘wood’ you do with timber?

What ‘wood’ you do with timber? Posted: 23-05-2017

Timber from a Lemon Scented Gum that stood in Ryley Street for up to 100 years is being made available for community use.

The tree was removed earlier this year after an independent arborist’s report found it should be taken out due to safety concerns.

But because of the significance of the tree, Council is asking for community groups or skilled individuals who could make use of the timber to come forward.

It is preferred the timber be turned into something that the community can benefit from.
