The cul-de-sac access road off Ely Street, which leads into Merriwa Park, will be closed between 9.30am and 1.30pm on Tuesday 15 May. 

This road closure is necessary to allow geotechnical testing of the embankment adjacent to the CFA site, which will assist the design of a retaining wall where the bank has failed. 

The testing procedure will entail using a drill rig.

Works may have to continue on Wednesday 16 May, if necessary to complete all test holes.
