Councillors

The fifth Council of the Wangaratta Rural City Council was elected in November 2008, with seven Councillors elected for a four year term.  Cr. Anthony Griffiths was elected Mayor of the Wangaratta Rural City Council on 2 December 2010 for a twelve month term.

Opportunities to meet with Councillors

The community can meet one-on-one with any Councillor during the Councillor consultation sessions held 15 minutes prior to each Ordinary Meeting of Council. Read more

Cr. Roberto Paino : Mayor

Cr. Roberto Paino was elected to the Wangaratta Rural City Council in 2003.  He was elected Mayor on 1 December 2011 for a twelve month term. He also holds the Governance portfolio. Read more
