This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety & Risk Officer to work as part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team to assist in the implementation of Council’s Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) management systems.

This is a hands on role coordinating OH&S and Risk Management and assisting in the improvement of organisational systems and processes, focussing on early intervention and customer centered outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong skills and experience in OH&S, WorkCover and insurance claim processes, with a qualification in OH&S, Risk Management or equivalent experience. Strong communication and negotiation skills will be essential as is the ability to gain the cooperation of a diverse workforce.
