Our Economic Development Unit is responsible for investment attraction and business growth throughout the municipality.

The role of Economic Development Coordinator will fulfil both a key strategic and operations role within the Economic Development Unit. Facilitating investment attraction and business development in all business and industry sectors by proactively engaging with industry groups to facilitate their growth, development and diversification.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in business, marketing or a like area or previous practical experience in the commercial sector. An understanding of local government’s role in facilitating the further development of a regional economy is also essential.
