A ‘can do’ attitude, friendly personality, and willingness to learn are key attributes we are looking for in a Customer Service and Information Management Trainee for this important customer focused role at Council.

This is a unique opportunity to join our busy team and be on the front line delivering professional multi-channel customer support and correspondence management to the community, Council staff, tenants and visitors at the Wangaratta Government Centre.

The role offers a diverse range of tasks including phone, reception and email enquiries, processing customer requests, payments and permits as well as receipting, recording and distributing inward and outward correspondence.

If you are a great communicator and can relate to a diverse customer base with proficiency in the operation of Microsoft Office applications and other computer based programs and the ability to work cooperatively and contribute to a dynamic team environment – we encourage you to apply.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Business as part of the traineeship to complement on the job training. Salary for this position will be paid in accordance with the National Training Wage. This position will commence on Monday, 15 January 2018.
